Why Choose Travel Social Work With ADN Healthcare?

The best reason to choose travel social work with ADN Healthcare is the personalized support you’ll receive.

Founded in 2018, it’s a family-owned and operated company. Most of the reviews we saw praised the quality of recruiters, detailing how they helped them overcome problems during their assignments.

Additionally, while the number of contracts ADN offers are a bit limited compared to other agencies, they do tend to list relatively high-paying contracts.

We explain the pros and cons of this travel social work company in greater detail below.

Pros of Travel Social Work With ADN Healthcare

1. High-Paying Contracts

While there were only six social work contracts available as of this writing, they did pay relatively well. The highest-paying assignment we saw pays over $2,500 per week. Meanwhile, the lowest-paying contract available offers over $1,600 per week.

Contracts paying this much would allow you to make far more money than the typical social worker.

So, if you’re less concerned about the number of available jobs and more interested in making as much money as possible, this could be the right travel social work agency.

2. Great Recruiters

It’s clear from reviews on Vivian that the recruiters, directors, and staff at ADN Healthcare do a great job. One Home Health RN wrote:

“Lisa (recruiter) and David (director) are amazing. The company I was going to work for suddenly dropped rates and were repeatedly sending requirements that they had not sent prior to me signing the contract. These two addressed all my concerns. They compensated me for drug screenings and the week of rent that I paid due to delay of starting the contract as a result of the company’s frequent changes to requirements. They still paid me for the first few days at the original rate up to when the new rate started. My recruiter and this director worked for me.”

Overall, if you’re looking to work with high-quality recruiters, ADN makes a great option.

3. Family-Owned

ADN Healthcare is a family-owned healthcare staffing agency, meaning you’ll likely receive a good deal of personalized attention.

By building strong relationships with their recruiters, you could be the first person they think of when they see an opening in your social work specialty. The same may be true if they see an opening in your dream location.

Overall, this company’s family-operated approach allows you to build a long-term partnership and become part of a tight-knit community.

4. Hands-On Career Support

Going along with the family-owned approach, you’ll receive hands-on career and licensing support. This means you’ll be able to pursue your long-term career goals, and be prepared for any assignment you take on.

When you connect with their recruiters, they’ll take the time to understand your skills, interests, and preferred work environment. This will help them place you in the job that best matches what you want.

If you’re new to travel social work, having this kind of personalized attention can help you navigate all of its complexities.

Cons of Travel Social Work With ADN Healthcare

The biggest drawback to ADN Healthcare is the lack of job listings for travel social workers.

While this agency does offer a wide range of contracts across nursing and allied health positions, there were only six travel social work contracts available as of this writing.

It’s worth noting that the placements they do offer seem to be high-paying. So, depending on your priorities, this can still make a great travel social work agency to work with.

Additionally, they don’t clearly state the benefits you’ll receive and when you receive them on their website. However, based on the positive reviews we saw, we do believe they offer robust benefits packages.

ADN Healthcare Travel Social Work Agency Reviews

Unfortunately we couldn’t find any ADN Healthcare reviews specifically from travel social workers. However, we were able to find reviews from other Allied Health professionals on Vivian.

For example, one Electrophysiology Technician wrote:

Lisa is AMAZING she goes above and beyond for her candidates.. I have spoken with other recruiters at different travel agencies and They do not even compare to Lisa!! She is definitely one of a kind and is the best of the best!! You can’t go wrong having her on your side… she was a joy to work with!!!
